Dr. Susanne Hewitt is a board certified and fellowship trained ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract surgery, refractive surgery including LASIK and PRK, corneal transplantation, and management of complex corneal disease. A native of Florida, Dr. Hewitt has been serving patients in the Roswell, Alpharetta, and Cumming area for over 15 years.

Dr. Hewitt specializes in the surgical treatment of cataracts and the use of premium lens technology including toric (astigmatism correcting), multifocal, and extended depth of focus lenses. In addition, Dr. Hewitt performs laser assisted cataract surgery for patients who desire this option. She offers refractive surgery including LASIK and PRK to patients who are looking to get out of their glasses or contacts. In addition, she provides medical and surgical care for patients with advanced corneal diseases such as keratoconus, corneal scars, pterygium, corneal dystrophies, and severe dry eye.

Dr. Hewitt is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refraction Surgeons. She is currently on staff at Northside Hospital. In addition to maintaining her full clinical practice, she also supervises and teaches trainees in the operating room at the Atlanta VA Medical Center. In her free time, Dr. Hewitt enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and daughter, as well as traveling, reading, exercising, and attending concerts.

Dr. Richard Paré is a board certified ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract surgery as well as comprehensive eye care. A native of Columbus, Georgia, Dr. Paré has been in practice at the North Fulton Eye Center for 25 years.  He has performed thousands of cataract surgeries on patients in the Roswell, Alpharetta, and Cumming areas. He is well versed in the use of advanced intraocular lens technologies for cataract surgery, including toric (astigmatism correcting), multifocal, and extended depth of focus lenses. Dr. Paré offers femtosecond laser assisted cataract surgery and Microincisional Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS) for those who are candidates.  Dr. Paré enjoys counseling his patients on the best surgical options for their lifestyle.  Additionally, Dr. Paré provides comprehensive eye care for patients with other common eye diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, glaucoma and many others.

Dr. Paré is currently on staff at Northside Hospital and he previously served as the Section Chief of Ophthalmology for the North Fulton Regional Hospital for several years. Patients of Dr. Paré often comment on his friendly and upbeat bedside manner and the way in which he takes the time to explain the diagnosis and treatment to each patient.

Dr. Paré is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refraction Surgeons, the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology, and the Medical Association of Georgia. He lives in Atlanta with his wife and has two adult daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, hunting and travel.
